What is RoofLens?
RoofLens uses high-resolution aerial and satellite imagery combined with machine learning to assess roof condition without anyone stepping foot on the property. We analyze visible wear patterns, material degradation, and structural anomalies across multiple years of imagery to produce a comprehensive condition grade.
What the assessment includes
- Overall roof condition grade (A through F) based on visible surface analysis
- Estimated remaining useful life based on material type, age, and local climate factors
- Projected replacement cost using regional labor and material pricing data
- Potential issues like missing shingles, overhanging branches, and ponding water
- Historical imagery comparison showing how the roof has changed over time
RoofLens assessments are generated from aerial images spanning multiple years. Imagery is sourced from commercial satellite and aerial providers and analyzed using computer vision models.
