What We Collect

When analytics tracking is active, we collect the following types of information through Google Tag Manager (GTM), which loads Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Reddit Pixel:

  • Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
  • Scroll depth (how far down a page you scroll)
  • Clicks on calls-to-action and outbound links
  • Device type, browser, and screen size
  • General geographic region (city-level, derived from IP address)
  • Referring website or search terms that brought you here
  • Campaign attribution parameters (UTM tags) from the URL you used to arrive at our site, which may be attached to your order if you make a purchase
  • Core Web Vitals performance metrics

We do not engage in cross-site tracking, browser fingerprinting, or ad targeting. We do not build advertising profiles based on your browsing activity. Your IP address is anonymized by Google Analytics before storage.

How We Use It

We use analytics data to:

  • Understand which pages and features are most useful to our visitors
  • Identify and fix usability issues
  • Measure the effectiveness of our content and marketing
  • Monitor site performance and loading speed
  • Improve the overall experience for homebuyers and investors

Who We Share With

Analytics and marketing data is processed by the following third parties:

  • Google (via Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and DoubleClick) — receives anonymized usage data as described above. DoubleClick may set cookies for ad measurement if remarketing tags are active in GTM. Google’s processing of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Meta (Facebook Pixel) — may receive page view and conversion event data for ad measurement. Loaded via GTM and fully disabled when you opt out. Meta’s processing is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Reddit (Reddit Pixel) — may receive page view and conversion event data for ad measurement. Loaded via GTM and fully disabled when you opt out. Reddit’s processing is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Klaviyo — receives purchase event data (email, order total, credit count) server-side after a completed transaction. This is used to send post-purchase surveys and is not affected by your analytics opt-out. Klaviyo’s processing is governed by their Privacy Notice.

Stripe processes payment transactions independently when you make a purchase. Stripe’s data collection is governed by their own Privacy Policy and is not affected by your analytics opt-out choice. Stripe’s data handling is necessary to process your payment and prevent fraud.

Your Rights

Under U.S. state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA) — you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.

While we do not sell your data in the traditional sense, sharing analytics and advertising data with Google, Meta, and Reddit may constitute “sharing” under some state definitions. To ensure your rights are fully respected, we provide the opt-out control below.

When you opt out:

  • Google Tag Manager will not load on any page
  • No analytics or advertising events will be sent to Google, Meta, or Reddit
  • Existing tracking cookies from these services will be deleted
  • Your preference is saved in your browser and persists across sessions
  • Payment processing (Stripe) continues to work normally

Opt-Out Control

Global Privacy Control

PropertyLens honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as an opt-out of analytics tracking. This is consistent with the requirements of the CCPA, which recognizes GPC as a valid opt-out mechanism.

If GPC is enabled in your browser and you would still like to allow analytics on PropertyLens, you can use the opt-in control above to override the GPC signal for this site only.
